Basketball Recap: Dermott Victorious

On Monday, the Dermott Rams escaped with a win against the Clarendon Lions by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41.

Dermott has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Clarendon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dermott won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Scott Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarendon, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Marvell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarendon is facing Marvell at the right time seeing as Marvell is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
