Holmes is a perfect 10-0 against Gates County since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Aces will head out to take on the Red Barons at 6:00 p.m. Holmes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

Gates County will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Holmes extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. Everything went the Aces' way against Northeastern as they made off with an 8-1 win. With Holmes ahead 6-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

They hit Northeastern with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden Furlough (2), Tre'shaun Rankins (2), Peyton Mattera (2), and Samson Feamster (2).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gates County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Perquimans on Wednesday. Gates County haven't had any issues with Perquimans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Holmes' record now sits at 8-4-3. As for Gates County, their record is now 8-3-1.

Everything went Holmes' way against Gates County when the teams last played back in August of 2024, as Holmes made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
