Soccer Game Preview: Holy Name vs. Padua Franciscan

Holy Name is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They are taking a road trip to challenge the Padua Franciscan Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Holy Name has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Padua Franciscan will come in with six straight victories.

Holy Name managed to slip by Normandy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Green Wave came up short against the Invaders on Saturday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Padua Franciscan kept a clean sheet against Buckeye on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Bucks with a sharp 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Garrett Nowicki as he scored four goals for his team.

Holy Name's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-3. As for Padua Franciscan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-3.
