Taft had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Harlan Hawks a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Taft pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine contests. As for Harlan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
