Basketball Recap: Midfield Piles Up the Points Against Childersburg

Midfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging an 83-38 victory over the Childersburg Tigers. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 33 points or more this season.

Armonie Franklin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 15 points, ten assists, and nine steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Adams-Martin, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 21 points.

Midfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.

Midfield is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. As for Childersburg, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.
