Recap: Kennedy Bears vs. Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles
The Kennedy Bears lost against the Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Kennedy was the victim of a rough 69-48 loss at the hands of Cleveland Hill. Kennedy has struggled against Cleveland Hill recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Cleveland Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Javier Nelson, who scored 24 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ralph White, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cleveland Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Eden at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for Cleveland Hill, they will square off against Tapestry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
