After three games on the road, Pacific Collegiate is heading back home. They will take on the Kirby Prep Griffins at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Pacific Collegiate's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Pacific Collegiate gave their fans yet another huge win last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ceiba College Preparatory Academy 71-24 on the road. While fans of Pacific Collegiate might be used to big wins, the 47-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Meanwhile, Kirby Prep earned a 45-38 win over Anzar on Monday.
Kirby Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Lively led the charge by scoring 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lively has scored at least a third of Kirby Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Alden, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Pacific Collegiate's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41 points. As for Kirby Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Pacific Collegiate against Kirby Prep in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 66-26 victory. With Pacific Collegiate ahead 39-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
