Bowie was the 2-1 winner over Holliday when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Jackrabbits took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Thursday. The Jackrabbits' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bowie's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Holliday, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bowie is set to square off against their familiar foe Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Holliday will take on rival Jacksboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.1, the Tigers 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
