Football Game Recap: Sanborn Regional vs. Milford

Milford made easy work of Sanborn Regional on Saturday and carried off a 34-7 victory. Followers of Milford probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Milford's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Sanborn Regional couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. Although Milford wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The win was the 3rd in a row for them, as they raised their record to 5-2. Sanborn Regional are on a six-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.

Milford will take on ConVal at home at 7:00 PM next week. Sanborn Regional will stay at home against Belmont-Gilford at 1:30 PM. Neither Sanborn Regional nor Belmont-Gilford could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
