Softball Recap: New London Comes Up Short

New London was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons, falling 13-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Falcons when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Louisa-Muscatine, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, New London will be playing at home against Pekin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against West Burlington on the 31st.
