West Aurora entered their tilt with Larkin on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Royals by a score of 6-1. That's more bragging rights for the Blackhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eliseo Liscano was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Mason Atkins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

West Aurora pushed their record up to 25-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Larkin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season.

West Aurora will have a chance to go back-to-back against Larkin: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
