After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, McMahon brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 27-5 margin over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Senators as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Caroline Sattler made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sattler was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alexa Smith, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isabella Spagnuolo, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

McMahon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .660. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

McMahon's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Bridgeport Central, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
