Mishawaka posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Valparaiso Vikings 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Cavemen as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Valparaiso still got an impressive performance from Lily Simpson, who had 16 digs and six assists.

Mishawaka's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Valparaiso, they moved to 13-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Mishawaka will welcome Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valparaiso, they will head out on the road to square off against Michigan City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
