Basketball Recap: C. Milton Wright Mustangs vs. Fallston Cougars
The C. Milton Wright Mustangs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They strolled past Fallston with points to spare, taking the game 75-57. Given C. Milton Wright's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Cougars are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
C. Milton Wright was led to victory by Cayne Woodland and Dylan Sander. Woodland dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists, while Sander dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Sander is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Larry Thompson, who scored 17 points.
C. Milton Wright's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Fallston, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
