Volleyball Game Preview: Chatham Cavaliers vs. Altavista Colonels + How To Watch

Chatham is 2-8 against Altavista since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will square off against the Colonels at 7:00 p.m. Chatham is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Chatham will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Dan River, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 21-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Altavista came up short against Gretna on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-5.

Chatham's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Altavista, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Chatham beat Altavista 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
