Basketball Recap: Amherst's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Amherst came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Manawa Wolves 40-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since January 4, 2024.

Amherst's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Manawa, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
