Softball Recap: Del Norte Nighthawks vs. Rancho Bernardo Broncos
Del Norte extended their postseason success on Saturday against Rancho Bernardo. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nighthawks.
Taylor Maeda was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Alexis Kyles, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Del Norte lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are 3-1 when they post two or more home runs.
