Penn came tearing into  Saturday's  match with eight straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Pendleton Heights Arabians get on the board and left with  a   3-0  victory. For the Kingsmen, this counts as revenge for the   11-9 win the Arabians walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
The result came thanks to  Caitlyn Denny's shutout, as she gave up just two  hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Penn let  Logan Rumble and  Ava Zachary run wild. Rumble  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double, while  Zachary  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  double. That's the most  hits  Rumble has posted since back in June of 2024.
Penn's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Pendleton Heights,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-7.
 Coming up, Penn will venture away from home to  square off against South Bend Adams  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pendleton Heights, they will face off against Brownsburg at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
