Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Valleys). They never let the Truckee Wolverines get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Maddie Rebell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Rebell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, North Valleys got a massive performance out of Caylee Soap, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Soap also snagged a stolen base, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Karli Klein, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

North Valleys was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

With the win, North Valleys broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for Truckee, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Valleys will head out to square off against Wooster at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Colts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Truckee, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hug at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
