Baseball Recap: DeSales Takes a Loss

DeSales made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Whitley County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Colts fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 4-2 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Colts have suffered since April 25, 2024.

DeSales has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Whitley County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Looking ahead, DeSales is taking a road trip to take on North Bullitt at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitley County, they will take on Franklin County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
