Recap: Grant Pacers vs. Rocklin Thunder
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Grant Pacers walked away with it. They blew past the Thunder, posting a 41-14 win on the road. Grant might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 matches by 26 points or more this season.
Grant's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wayshawn Parker, who rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Devin Green was in the mix too, providing Grant with two touchdowns.
The win was the fifth in a row for Grant, bringing their record for this year to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Rocklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
Grant will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against La Serna at 4:00 p.m. on December 8th. La Serna knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten contests -- so hopefully Grant likes a good challenge. Rocklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
