South Oak Cliff's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Kopecky, who threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Kopecky has become a key player for South Oak Cliff: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Damond Williams helped Kopecky out on the ground, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
South Oak Cliff didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Collin Cottingham picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.
