Softball Recap: Caribou Comes Up Short

Caribou was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Old Town Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 on Saturday.

Caribou's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Old Town, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Caribou has already played their next contest, a 20-5 victory against Fort Kent on the 2nd. As for Old Town, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Orono on the 3rd.
