Recap: Washington Pam Pack vs. Hertford County Bears
The Washington Pam Pack's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 50-41 to Hertford County.
Hertford County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklynn White, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Jaliyah Mitchell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hertford County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
Washington will be playing in front of their home fans against East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Carteret presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Washington in North Carolina (East Carteret is ranked 119th, while Washington is ranked 337th). As for Hertford County, they will head out on the road to face off against Gates County at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Gates County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
