Richard Stegbauer put in work no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Stegbauer wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Easton Stegbauer, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Osceola's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for River Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Osceola will host Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Patriots have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for River Ridge, they will take on Berkeley Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
