Basketball Recap: Highlands Has No Trouble Against Seguin

After losing to Seguin the last time they met, Highlands decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Highlands Owls enjoyed a cozy 58-44 win over the Seguin Matadors on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Seguin lost, don't look at Corey Dailey. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cameron Juarez-Bruns, who posted seven points.

Highlands' record is now 19-13. As for Seguin, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highlands will square off against Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Highlands is facing Edison at the right time seeing as Edison is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Seguin, they will take on Burbank at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Burbank's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
