Baseball Game Preview: Estacada Rangers vs. Gladstone Gladiators

Estacada hasn't had much luck against Gladstone recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Gladiators at 5:00 p.m. Estacada is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Estacada came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Molalla by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Estacada saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Crawford, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Gladstone had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the White Buffaloes, sneaking past 3-1.

Estacada's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Gladstone, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
