Soccer Game Preview: Western vs. Canyon Springs + How To Watch

The Western Warriors will face off against the Canyon Springs Pioneers at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Western is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Arbor View, who was ranked 18th at the time (Western was ranked 16th). The Warriors never let the Aggies get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Western in their matchups with Arbor View: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Canyon Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Faith Lutheran.

Canyon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Western, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8-1.
