Baseball Recap: Harlem Comes Up Short

If Harlem was riding high fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Joliet West last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeKalb Barbs on Tuesday. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Barbs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Harlem now has a losing record of 4-5. As for DeKalb, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Harlem will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grayslake North at 4:30 p.m. The Huskies are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for DeKalb, they will head out to square off against Sterling at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
