Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Santa Fe + How To Watch

Santa Fe had won three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 8-2 to make it four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fleming Island Golden Eagles. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Morgan Lawson was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 17 digs and two aces. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Santa Fe was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fleming Island only served five aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fleming Island fell to 5-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hanna Kophamer, who had 15 digs and five assists. Another player making a difference was Alana Santiago, who had 18 assists and ten digs.

Coming up, Santa Fe will take on Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fleming Island, they will square off against Creekside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
