The Harvest Christian Academy Lions will challenge the Wheaton Academy Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Harvest Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 32-22 margin over Christian Liberty. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Kenzie Weidman was incredible, firing off three stolen bases, eight RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in triples (two). Ella Schoenberg was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Harvest Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy won against Aurora Christian on Monday with 27 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 27-12 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Tati Chavez was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Moriah Husted, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Harvest Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.3 runs over those games. As for Wheaton Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Harvest Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .562. However, it's not like Wheaton Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .557. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
