Alvarado won the last time they faced Hillsboro and things went their way on Friday too. The Alvarado Indians strolled past the Hillsboro Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 65-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Hillsboro's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kameron Rose, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Rose is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Conner Creech, who posted nine points.

Alvarado's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Hillsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alvarado will take on Godley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Alvarado's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Hillsboro, they will face off against Life Waxahachie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Life Waxahachie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hillsboro likes a good challenge.
