Calvary Christian Academy barely beat American Heritage the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 17-7 win on Wednesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Reese Mittauer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Sofia Fine was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. Parker Lee was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Calvary Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .564 or higher in five consecutive contests.
