Basketball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion lost against Red Creek on December 12th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Marion Black Knights fell 55-45 to the Red Creek Rams.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Red Creek, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sodus at 6:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025. Red Creek also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Clyde-Savannah at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Clyde-Savannah will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Red Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
