Softball Recap: Butler Bulldogs vs. Rocky River Ravens
Butler had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Rocky River Ravens with a sharp 16-1 win on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-1 back in March.
Cherie Carter made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three runs.
