Oswego East lost to Joliet Central back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Wolves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Steelmen, sneaking past 2-1.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up 19 kills. Vlcek got some help from Nathan Thach and his 36 assists. Thach was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

The victory got Oswego East back to even at 5-5. As for Joliet Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Oswego East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Glenbard North on the 5th. As for Joliet Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Naperville North on the 5th.
