Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Piles Up the Points Against Carolina Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grace Academy). They really took it to the Carolina Christian Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 92-45 victory. With Grace Academy ahead 52-25 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Grace Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tim Burris out in front who posted 15 points and five steals. The game was Burris' third in a row with at least ten points. Carson Payne was another key player, putting up 17 points and five assists.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Grace Academy, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Carolina Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Grace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-41 win against Arborbrook Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Carolina Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-29 defeat against Lee Park Prep on the 6th.
