Bell's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 22-21 win over the Huntington Park Spartans. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bell had a senior duo take command as Danny Reyes picked up 159 receiving yards and three TDs and Antwan Jimenez threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns. Reyes was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards.

Bell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Huntington Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Bell will head out to face off against South East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Huntington Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
