Football Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 59-21 loss at the hands of the Prosper Eagles. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Princeton had strong showings from Dakota Lee, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD, and Marcus Flowers, who threw for 155 yards and one touchdown.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Prosper, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Princeton will square off against McKinney Boyd at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Prosper, they will face off against Plano West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
