Basketball Recap: DasCHE Comes Up Short

If DasCHE was feeling good fresh off their 67-41 takedown of Lubbock T on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The DasCHE Spartans took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dallas Thunder. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dallas Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Despite the loss, DasCHE still got an impressive performance from Jadon Comeaux, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most boards Comeaux has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Hubener, who posted ten points.

DasCHE's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Dallas Thunder, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DasCHE will head out to square off against North Central Texas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dallas Thunder, they will take on Episcopal School of Dallas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Episcopal School of Dallas has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
