Basketball Recap: Rudder Takes a Loss

Rudder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Huntsville Hornets and fell 98-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rangers have suffered since February 9, 2024.

Rudder's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Huntsville, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Coming up, Rudder will challenge A&M Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huntsville, they will face off against Lake Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Huntsville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matches.
