Soccer Game Preview: Upper Darby vs. Strath Haven

Upper Darby is 0-6 against Strath Haven since September of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Royals will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. Upper Darby has given up an average of 6.1 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Upper Darby fell victim to Haverford and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Fords, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Strath Haven finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of Lower Merion by a score of 1-0. It was the first time this season that Strath Haven let down their fans at home.

Strath Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3-2. As for Upper Darby, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Upper Darby might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Strath Haven in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
