Wahlert had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Dubuque Senior Rams get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 on Saturday.

Wahlert's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Dubuque Senior, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wahlert and Dubuque Senior will both be playing Iowa City West the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
