Basketball Recap: Strayhorn Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Strayhorn had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Charleston Tigers on Thursday, falling 70-18. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Charleston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Strayhorn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Charleston, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Water Valley at 9:30 p.m. on December 2.
