Volleyball Recap: Clare Holtzapfel Key Part of Team Effort in Raiders Win

Ryle picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Agnes Academy Stars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ryle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clare Holtzapfel, who had three digs and three aces. That's the most digs Holtzapfel has posted over her last three games.

Ryle's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for St. Agnes Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Ryle has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Clarksville on the 20th. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will square off against Briarcrest Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saints will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Stars surely won't give up without a fight.
