After a string of four wins, Maud's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Detroit Eagles, falling 10-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Maud saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tori Loyed, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Maud's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Detroit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

As of now, neither Maud nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
