Recap: Apollo Eagles vs. Ohio County Eagles
The Apollo Eagles were the 53-46 winner over the Ohio County Eagles when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Apollo fell to Ohio County 41-37. Apollo has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Apollo's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Jenna Dant and Jennifer Lee. Dant dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Lee dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Lee scored a full 37.8% of Apollo's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jessica Lee, who scored 3 points along with 4 steals.
Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ohio County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Apollo is on the road again on Monday and play against Butler County at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for Ohio County, they will be playing at home against Elizabethtown at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
