Madison was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Geneva on Monday. The Madison Blue Streaks couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 65-29 blowout they got against the Geneva Eagles. The Blue Streaks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 29 points or more this season.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Geneva, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Madison will face off against Edgewood at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Edgewood will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Geneva, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Geneva Eagles duke it out with the Jefferson Area Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
