Baseball Recap: El Cerrito Gauchos vs. Piedmont Highlanders
While El Cerrito's win against Piedmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The El Cerrito Gauchos won by a run and slipped past the Piedmont Highlanders 2-1. The Gauchos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders on Thursday, too.
El Cerrito's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Reggie Burnham, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.
