Oscar Rios' Big Game Leads Downey over Dominguez
 Starting off the list is Downey's  Oscar Rios, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rios threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards.
 Dominguez had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Rios it was a similar story. When  Rios last faced the Dons  back in October of 2023, he threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Mayfair Gets a Boost from Johnson in  42-21  Victory
  Louis Johnson was instrumental in extending Mayfair's winning streak to three on Friday. Johnson did his part (and then some), rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
 Johnson must have La Mirada's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Johnson saw the Matadores), he rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Bernardo Blanco Makes It Two for Downey
 The second Downey player making an appearance here is  Bernardo Blanco, and for good reason. He rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in the last three games he's  played.
 On the year,  Blanco  has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 94.5 rushing yards per game.

Lauago Came Up Big in La Mirada's  42-21  Loss
 While  Jordan Lauago delivered a dominant  performance  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for La Mirada. Mayfair had no answer to  Lauago  as he rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
 Mayfair had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Lauago it was a similar story. Lauago picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 42 yards the last time he and the Monsoons duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Chaz Gilbreath Makes It Two for Mayfair
 Another Mayfair player making an appearance on this list is  Chaz Gilbreath. He made six total tackles.
